I like to approach tutoring by making sure that students feel comfortable communicating about any difficulty that they are having. What makes a difference between a session that shows results and one that doesn't is how well the student grasps the content being worked on and when they apply it to their work at school as well. I like to make sure that during the session, they understand the feedback being given and truly make sure that they understand where they are making mistakes and how to fix them moving forward.

Hello! I'm an undergraduate student at Fordham University with about 3 years of experience tutoring in Spanish and essay writing. I'm a native Spanish speaker with a New York State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and an Advanced Regents diploma.

A student that I worked with in 2025 was an incoming 6th grader looking to learn some Spanish in preparation for the upcoming school year. She didn't know any Spanish, so she was starting from ground zero. I started by teaching her how to introduce herself and greet others in Spanish within the first week. By the second week, I taught her how to count numbers and pronounce letters in Spanish. By the end of the month, we were able to have a conversation and talk about dates and animals at a moderate level which helped her grow from not knowing anything to getting to a moderate level.
