A session that produces results, in my experience, is due to an emphasis on repetition on review. I have most experience teaching math, and starting the session with a review of previous materials before moving forward helps the concepts stick.

I am a dedicated math tutor who helps students build stronger foundational skills, improve their confidence, and approach challenging problems step by step. My tutoring is personalized to each student's needs, with an emphasis on understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures.

I worked with a sixth grade student who needed help with their Algebra I class. The student struggled remembering concepts in a test taking environment, so we worked on repetition of core concepts by challenging the student to tell me which concept was being used for which problem before starting. This helped them become more comfortable in the basics, and allowed for better test scores and independent homework completion.
